Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) is a universal language. All national drafting standards which follow Internal Organization Standardization cover GD&T extensively. GD&T is a modern engineering drawing system which provides means for stating on drawing for necessary dimensional and tolerance requirements.

Course Objectives:
  • Describe and interpret the use of geometric dimensioning and tolerance on Engineering Drawings.
  • Assist the effective application of geometrics as communication and  technical tool in the industry.
  • Understand GD & T symbol, interpretation and inspection principles thereby able to explain the method of measuring
